Job Description

Contract Kinder Teacher Assistant 5 days a week
Monday to Fridays 3:30-5:30 on school days
7.5 hours on non school days (pddays etc)
Starting asap, for 6 months
(with the possibility of extension)
Potential for other hours as casual supply if interested

Experience with kindergarten age children in licensed, inclusive settings. Current CPR/Standard First Aid and Vulnerable Sector Check, up to date immunizations & a letter of good health from a health care practitioner are required.

Knowledge of CCEYA, HDLH, Experience with children with extra needs, child centered educational background (RECE, DSW etc) and/or additional training are definite assets for this position.

We are looking for a dynamic and caring individual that supports and understands the importance of relationships with young children and learning through play, in a social and busy environment. The ability to work as a team, provide quality care / experiences for the children, and make strong partnerships with family and staff – are our priorities.
