Overview
Deslaurier Custom Cabinets is a growing manufacturing facility specializing in high‑quality custom cabinets. We operate a modern production environment and are committed to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. We are seeking a dedicated Woodworking Machine Operators Supervisor to lead our production team.
Job Duties
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of woodworking machine operators and related production staff.

• Establish work priorities, monitor workflow, and ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

• Train staff in job duties, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.

• Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, sanders, CNC machines, and other equipment.

• Inspect products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.

• Resolve work problems, recommend improvements, and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain production records, prepare reports, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

• Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as required.

• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Employment Requirements
• Completion of secondary school required; post‑secondary training in woodworking or manufacturing is an asset.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a woodworking machine operator supervisor or in a related production role.

• Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, production processes, and safety standards.

• Ability to lead a team, solve problems, and work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
