You'll work 12-hour on-call shifts in pairs. When a call comes in, the dispatcher sends you the details and your team heads to the scene — a hospital, home, or care facility. You'll carry out the removal with care and professionalism, then transport the decedent to different locations for after care.
What You'll Do
• Complete removals of decedents from hospitals, private residences, and retirement/nursing homes
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport human remains
• Offer calm, compassionate support to grieving families at the scene
• Complete funeral home intake paperwork accurately
• Coordinate with funeral home staff, police, and dispatchers throughout your shift
