Job Description

Outside Sales Associate Required
Green Planet is an industry leader in the collection of Used Cooking Oil and Grease Trap
Services. We are seeking a Full Time Outside Sales Representative to join our expanding team.
The Associate’s role is maintaining and enhancing business client relationships. Their focus is
on a sales strategy and implementation, client acquisition & retention as well as loyalty and
brand building. The Sales Associate will bridge the gap between clients and company teams,
they will ensure that clients’ requirements are exceeded within the parameters of the great
customer service Green Planet provides. Must be fluent in both French and English as they are
required to perform this task in both Ontario and Quebec.
Duties include but are not limited to;
1. Sales - build the brand by increasing the customer base through direct contact sales,
referrals, and leads generated by Head Office.
2. Customer Relations - maintaining strong and professional relationships with the
customers by hearing their concerns and addressing them with the Head Office
(dispatch, support, or accounting) and direct area supervisor/manager. This will include
receiving phone calls and/or visiting clients to troubleshoot concerns or issues whether
customer-related or Head Office related.
3. Liaison between Head Office and the customers by being the company representative
for our customers to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.

As an outside sales representative, you will be responsible for:
● Achieving monthly new customer targets
● Contacting customers from the daily leads and updating notes in our CRM
● Maintaining our existing customers (making sure everything is okay, adding services)
● Developing very strong relationships with existing and new customers
● Cold-calling potential customers with regular follow-ups
● Setting up appointments with key decision-makers
● Prospecting and identifying new business opportunities
● Onboarding of new customers
● Keeping records of potential new customers and existing customers through our CRM
program

What you will do:
Visit existing clients and work on client retention
Cold-calling potential new clients with regular follow-ups
Seeking out Key Decision-Makers and getting in front of them
Prospecting and identifying new business opportunities
Following up on company-generated daily leads
Updating our CRM with client interactions and visits
Signing new client service agreements

What you need:
Great attitude
Previous experience in outside sales (2-3 years)
Fluently Bilingual in French and English
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Well-organized with attention to detail
Being able to convert leads and cold calls into client
Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets
Strong presentation and closing skills
Able to travel throughout the Ottawa and Gatineau
Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
Being able to use Google Forms and Sheets
Ability to read and write in English (Other languages are an asset)
