We are a small (but quickly growing!) bookkeeping and personal tax preparation company. We are currently looking for an exceptional bookkeeper to fill a part-time role. This can quickly turn into a full-time position for the right person.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Bookkeeper at Raven Tax Inc. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for financial statements, bookkeeping, utilizing accounting software, and handling journal entries (accounting). The role is located in Fitzroy Harbour, ON, with some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
• Exceptional Bookkeeping skills
• Experience with Quickbooks Desktop and QBO
• Knowledge of Finance and Journal Entries (Accounting)
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to analyze all balance sheet accounts and reconcile them for Y/E
• Previous experience in a similar role working on multiple client files
• Post-secondary education in accounting is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience
• CRM software experience and tax knowledge are assets
