Job Description

Arnprior Regional Health Foundation is seeking a motivated and team-oriented individual for the position of Full-Time Community Events & Administrative Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

Events Coordination

Assists, designs, plans and coordinates events.
Supports and manages relationships with partners, vendors, volunteers, businesses, sponsors, consultants and donors of events.
Communicates openly with the Executive Director, Foundation staff and Committees to ensure that they are aware of all activities, solicitation and plans moving forward.
Donor

Acts as Donor Perfect Database administrator.
Enters information into database and generates donor and statistical reports as required.
Serves as liaison between staff, ARH Finance, community and donors.
Administration

Provides general administrative support for the Executive Director & Annual Giving Officer.
Schedules meetings, prepares agendas and material needed for meetings or events.
Coordinates requests from donors such as the facilitation of volunteers and committees.
Stewardship, Tribute Giving, and Funeral Home(s) Liaison

As the first contact for many donations, will direct stewardship practices to the most appropriate team member to follow the Stewardship Plan.
Develop relationships with funeral home directors and staff to streamline communication and collaboration.
Supply funeral homes with tribute donation forms, receipts, brochures, envelopes and track receipt numbers for the purpose of distribution to grieving families and/or donors.

Qualifications

2-year diploma in Office Administration or Events Management (or equivalent experience)
Events experience (required)
1 or more years of experience in an event management role.
2+ years of experience in an administrative role.
Fundraising experience (preferred)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, lead, coordinate and follow-up
Ability to prepare a variety of documents, reports, presentations, minutes, agendas, event plans and post-mortem reporting
Leads the planning, coordination and delivery of fundraising events and scheduling of meetings
Friendly, outgoing and professional approach to serve as a liaison between staff, the community and donors
Proficient with a variety of computer applications including Word, Excel, Power Point as well as a strong expertise in writing to follow key messaging
A strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
A professional attitude along with an outgoing and friendly personality is required with the ability to eagerly accept new challenges.
Ability to accurately prepare receipts and bank deposits.
An expectation of accessibility for communication during Foundation office hours (8:00 – 4:00) is expected.
Flexibility of working hours will be honored. Understandably, evening/weekend work may be required (i.e. Board Meetings, Events Etc.)
