Job Description

Arnprior Regional Health, less than 30 minutes northwest of Ottawa, is a multisite and integrated health service organization offering, acute, long-term care and community programs and services. Reporting to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation, Executive Director, we are seeking an individual who is interested in joining our team as a Temporary Part-Time Advertising and Promotions Coordinator.

Hourly Rate: $28.00

Hours per week: 30

Start Date: May 19, 2025

Duration: 9 weeks

A suitable Advertising and Promotions Coordinator will be responsible for marketing & communications of Fundraising Initiatives as part of the agreed Canada Summer Jobs Program (CSJ).

In carrying out the responsibilities above, and in the interest of patient care, this position will be fully knowledgeable and committed to the understanding and abiding by the corporation’s mission, vision and values while complying with applicable policies/procedures to include but not limited to code of conduct, health and safety, confidentiality/ privacy, risk management and quality improvement.

Advertising and Promotions of Foundation Lottery Initiatives:
Coordinates the advertising and promotion of various charitable lottery ticket sales through various sources and promotes Foundation initiatives to benefit life-saving equipment in the local community
A key contact for community questions, issues and facilitates ticket sales, where needed
Prepares and organizes cheque presentations to winner(s)
Ensures that Foundation operations are complying with AGCO regulations
Works in tandem with the Events & Fundraising Coordinator to ensure that Foundation initiatives are successful and impactful
Jeep Adventure Lottery Advertising and Promotions:
Drives sales of the Jeep Adventure Lottery tickets through various methods
Prepare materials needed for Jeep Adventure Lottery in-person sales
Encourages the public to buy tickets respectfully and with a high degree of organization to document information accurately
Ensures that the Jeep Adventure Lottery is conducted following AGCO regulations
Assists with the planning and execution of in-person sales and initiatives
Provides general administrative support for the Event & Fundraising Coordinator, Fundraising Administrator and Executive Director, where appropriate
Social Media Advertising, Promotions, and Event Support:
Uses the Foundation’s Social Media platforms effectively to compliment lottery and fundraising initiatives as outlined in the Annual Operating Plan.
Periodically designs and posts Facebook, Instagram and paid Ads, as requested.
Assists with the planning and coordination of events.
Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as needed basis

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must be 18 years of age or older
Charitable organization experience is an asset.
Proficiency using MS Office products including word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, with a good understanding of general database management.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
A valid driver’s license with regular access to a vehicle.
A professional attitude along with an outgoing and friendly personality is required with the ability to eagerly accept new challenges.
