A private company in Carleton Place is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of the facilities through regular maintenance and timely repairs.

This position offers a competitive salary and flexible hours. The start date is immediate, and applications will be accepted until Wednesday, July 31.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Conduct general repairs including carpentry, painting, and drywall work
- Respond to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Inspect building systems and identify maintenance needs
- Coordinate with contractors for major repairs as needed

Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in building maintenance or a related field
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Ability to perform carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of building codes and safety standards is an asset
- Valid driver’s license may be required
