Job Description

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Restaurant & Banquet Server to join our team. This is a hybrid position, combining both restaurant and banquet service responsibilities. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, efficient under pressure, and has a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences in both casual and formal settings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service in both restaurant and banquet environments.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with setup, service, and breakdown for banquet events.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, wine, and other drinks, with proper presentation and care.
• Use point-of-sale (POS) systems to process orders and payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and service stations.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, complaints, or special requests.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Previous experience in restaurant and/or banquet service preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Basic bar knowledge, including the ability to make standard cocktails and serve wine appropriately.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and carrying trays, dishes, and supplies as needed.
• Smart Serve Certified
