Job Description | We’re actively seeking a candidate for a Home Support Worker position based in Arnprior, with a potential start date of October 14th. The role includes a paid training period for the first three weeks, which will take place in Ottawa at 1145 Hunt Club Road. During this time, the candidate will be compensated at $17.60 per hour plus mileage paid at $0.50 per km. Upon successful completion of the training, they will begin working in the Arnprior area, with their pay increasing to $20.99 per hour. As a Home Support Worker, you will assist people in your community to live safely in their homes by supporting them with daily tasks and self-care activities. You will receive free and paid training in a 3 week in-class program designed to teach you the skills needed to work as a Home Support Worker. Upon graduation you will be eligible for full-time hours and benefits.
