About Us:
Orr Developments Inc. is a locally owned and operated general contracting company specializing in
residential and commercial renovations, new builds, and multi-unit developments across the Ottawa
Valley. Our team takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, efficient project management,
and strong relationships with clients and trades alike. We are now seeking a Site Superintendent to
join our team for an upcoming mid-sized apartment complex project in Arnprior, Ontario.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in the daily site operations of this multi-storey apartment
development. You will work directly with company leadership to manage schedules, coordinate
trades, ensure site safety and quality, and help drive the project to successful completion.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and coordinate daily site activities and subtrades
• Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, building codes, and safety requirements
• Troubleshoot issues efficiently and proactively
• Communicate regularly with management, engineers, and inspectors
• Manage deliveries, materials, and equipment on site
• Perform or assist with construction tasks when required
• Maintain organized project documentation and site logs
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Site Superintendent or in construction management (multi-unit or
commercial experience preferred)
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and leadership skills
• Ability to think critically and solve on-site challenges quickly
• Excellent communication skills with trades, suppliers, and management
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Compensation:
• Hours: 44–50 hours per week
• Compensation: Extremely competitive and based on experience
