The aroma when fresh beans are ground. The subtle differences between origins and roasts. The way a perfectly prepared drink can become part of someone's daily ritual. About the Position. This is a busy café environment where guest experience comes first.

During the initial training period, your primary focus will be front-of-house operations: greeting guests, taking orders, operating the register, packaging products, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere. We have many regular guests, and learning names, remembering faces, and building relationships is an important part of the role.

We are happy to train the right person. What we cannot train is reliability, accountability, and a willingness to learn.

As your confidence grows, training will expand into espresso preparation and coffee education. Because coffee quality is an important part of what we do, team members training as baristas will be tasting and evaluating coffee as part of the learning process.

Additional Responsibilities
- Restocking products and supplies
- Maintaining café cleanliness and presentation
- Folding bakery boxes and packaging products
- Learning about our breads, pastries, and specialty offerings
- Light dishwashing
- Supporting the team wherever needed

Schedule
- Thursday through Sunday
- Approximately 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Three-day weekend on most Stat Holiday weekends
- First week of January off every year / September off every year
