Job Title: Production Assistant
Location: Gilks Sports & Promo, Ottawa Valley
Hours: 25 hours/week

Gilks Sports & Promo is a family-run business proudly serving the Ottawa Valley for over 40 years. Our offerings include embroidery, screen-printing, digital transfers, laser engraving, trophies and awards, signage, team uniforms, school apparel, promotional products, sports equipment, and skate sharpening. Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, supporting production and retail operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working in a busy, detail-oriented setting and is comfortable standing for most of their shift.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heat press and embroidery machines
- Assist with trophy assembly and running the engraver
- Operate large-format printer
- Provide retail support, including UPS/Purolator pick-up and drop-off
- Support daily production tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Skills:
- Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
- Comfortable standing for the majority of the shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Previous experience with heat pressing, embroidery, printing, or engraving is an asset, but not required – training provided
