We are seeking an experienced and reliable Pool Technician to join our team in Arnprior, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of hands-on pool service experience, a strong understanding of water chemistry, and confidence working with industry-standard pool equipment. This role involves servicing residential and commercial pools, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring safe, clean, and properly balanced water for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular pool maintenance including cleaning, vacuuming, and inspections
Test, balance, and adjust pool water chemistry to industry standards
Diagnose, repair, and install pool equipment and components
Work with common pool equipment brands including Pentair, Hayward, and Jandy
Open and close pools seasonally
Identify potential issues and recommend solutions to clients
Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with customers
Follow safety procedures and company service standards at all times
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of pool water chemistry and treatment methods
Experience servicing and troubleshooting pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems
Familiarity and comfort working with Pentair, Hayward, and Jandy equipment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to approximately 50 lbs)
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Willingness to work flexible hours during peak pool season
