Complete Systems Installation Ltd (CSI) is seeking a reliable and motivated On-the-Road Field Installation Technician to join our team. This hands-on, field-based role combines installation, maintenance, and technical support for Road Weather Information Systems (RWIS) across Canada. Ideal candidates enjoy travel, outdoor work, and being part of a team delivering critical safety systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and service specialized road and runway weather systems.
• Assist in commissioning new systems and collect operational data.
• Operate standard and specialized test equipment to support installations.
• Follow directions from on-site team members and work independently when needed.
• Travel extensively across Ontario and sometimes, all of Canada (approx. 75% of the time) with overnight stays up to 3 weeks.
• Work in hot, cold, and variable weather conditions.
• Perform general site duties, including traffic control support and housekeeping.
• Complete work orders, maintenance reports, and documentation on-site.
• Provide operational feedback to management.

Who We’re Looking For
• Comfortable with both physical labour and technical tasks.
• Technically inclined, with experience in electronics, networking, or field service considered an asset but not required
• Construction, trades, or installation experience preferred
• Ability to work at heights and operate aerial platforms an asset
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently or with a small team
• Able to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
• Valid G-class driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Able to pass a criminal record check
• Candidates must be 25 years and older for insurance purposes.

Job Type: Full-Time, Extensive Travel Required
Benefits: $23 - $25/hour with yearly bonuses
