Busy cafe environment -- Position focus during initial training period at register, taking/packing/processing orders for guests. We have many regular guests, so learning names and recognizing guests after a few visits is necessary. We will happily train, but it is necessary to be able to stay calm when the cafe is very busy, some task switching is required, and good communication between team members to maintain positive guest experiences is essential. Training on espresso machine will happen once candidate is comfortable with transactions. Drinking coffee is essential to learning the barista position.

Position includes restocking, maintaining cleanliness of the shop, folding boxes, learning about pastries and bread, some light dishwashing.
Shifts are Thursday - Sunday 8ish-5ish, three day week every Stat holiday, 1st week of January and Sept off every year
