Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Dishwasher to support our fast‑paced meal‑prep kitchen on part time basis. (Wednesday 4- 7 pm, Thursday 3 - 6 pm, Friday 2-6 pm) This position is seasonal from June till End of August.

This role is critical to maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and smooth kitchen operations. The Dishwasher ensures all dishes, cookware, and food‑prep equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use while assisting with basic kitchen cleaning and organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, containers, trays, and kitchen equipment
- Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
- Assist with cleaning food prep areas, floors, walls, drains, and garbage stations
- Remove trash, compost, and recycling according to company procedures
- Support kitchen staff by ensuring a steady supply of clean equipment during production
- Follow health & safety regulations, including HACCP and food safety guidelines
- Report broken equipment or safety hazards to supervisors
- Assist with light prep or kitchen tasks as assigned (e.g., organizing containers, wiping surfaces)

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred (not required)
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an asset
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs (pots, racks, bins)
- Strong attention to cleanliness and efficiency
- Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, temperature‑controlled kitchen environment
