Job Description

Position Overview
On-Guard Pest & Wildlife LTD is seeking a highly driven, detail-oriented Pest Control & Wildlife Technician to deliver professional pest management and wildlife solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

This role requires critical thinking, discipline, and the ability to solve pest problems at their root.
Must have a valid drivers licence with a clean driving record and a clean police record check.

Core Responsibilities
Conduct detailed inspections
Identify pest activity and entry points
Apply treatments in compliance with Ontario regulations
Perform wildlife removal and exclusion
Seal structural vulnerabilities
Clean and remediate contaminated areas
Maintain accurate service records
Communicate clearly with clients
Recommend additional services when appropriate

Qualifications & Requirements
Valid Ontario Exterminator Licence (or willingness to obtain)
Valid G-Class Driver’s Licence (with a clean drivers record)
Clean Police Records Check
Strong problem-solving ability
Excellent communication skills

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Ability to work in all weather conditions

Work Conditions
Full-time, field-based position
Travel throughout Arnprior, Ottawa, and surrounding areas
Use of company vehicle
