Full Time Position – Dairy Farm
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team!
W. Gillan Farms is a robotic dairy operation located in Pakenham. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to assist with daily farm operations.
Responsibilities include:
● Cleaning and maintaining milking robots
● Tidying stalls and crosswalks
● Fetching cows
● Assisting with general cow and calf care
● Bedding and scraping with a skidsteer
● Other responsibilities appropriate to your skillset
Ideal candidate:
● Calm and patient with animals
● Strong attention to detail
● Good communication skills
● Able to work independently and with others
● This role involves physical labour, including pulling, lifting and bending
● Has a valid drivers license and own transportation
Experience working with dairy cows and operating a skid steer is considered an asset, but not required.
Schedule:
● Monday to Friday: 6 AM –1 PM
● Every other weekend: 6:00–8:30 AM and 3:00–5:30 PM
