Night Laundry
Qualifications
• Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions in English and be able to communicate and provide feedback on a day-to-day basis.
• Must meet physical requirements of the job.
• Should have knowledge of proper linen care and stain removal.
• Previous experience in residential cleaning and laundry is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
• Assists in the collection and sorting of soiled personal clothing and linens and pre-treats stains as required.
• Loads and unloads washers and dryers ensuring that proper settings are used and that chemical supplies are at an appropriate level.
• Folds, segregates and stacks linens and residents' clothing
• Delivers linens and clothing to appropriate areas.
• Adheres to established facility policies and procedures, including safety rules and safe working practices.
• Complete documentation as required according to facility policy/job routines.
• Cleans common areas according to assigned schedules using appropriate cleaning and sanitation methods and procedures;
• Picks up garbage and transports to designated areas;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision;
• Practices regular attendance as per schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.
