Job Description

AREM Concrete & Construction Inc. is a very busy small business located in Arnprior Ontario. We currently have scheduled projects from February 6th to October 2023 and more still coming in. Our projects are fairly large and require skilled employees with knowledge in concrete, foundations and support. The ability to run or learn machinery including excavators and skid steers is essential for this position. We are incorporated and are an accredited business with the BBB with a 5 star rating with an exceptional reputation. Building client relationships is very important to us and we often have repeat business.

We are currently looking for someone who has supervisory skills with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience in many different construction fields Must have the ability to teach others while also working on the job. Ideally you are a "Jack/Jill" of all trades.

Must have the following:
Own transport and DL
Ability to pull trailers
Own basic tools
Proper safety attire
A working cell phone at all times
Exceptional communication skills including listening and learning from management
Excellent problem solving abilities
Excellent work ethic and dependability
Ability to work on your own when required
Flexible work schedule - this is not a 9-5 position
Technical know how ie can work with computers

Nice to have:
Working at heights ticket
Fall Arrest
First Aid
Operate mini excavators, skid steers, genie booms etc
Experience in framing and carpentry
