Job Description

Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew. The Arnprior location is based out of AJ Charbonneau Public School on Baskin Drive. We offer Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.

We require a Part Time Contract Cook
Scheduled for one set day a week (Fridays, 7.5 hours shift) as well as the ability to support casual kitchen relief for additional shifts. This contract is beginning as soon as possible through to December end, 2023 *with the potential for extension. The rate of pay is $18.63/hour per hour plus 4% holiday pay.

Requirements:
• Current Safe Food Handling
• Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
• Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector
• Proof of up to date immunizations and ability to get a doctor’s note indicating good health
• Experience and comfort cooking for larger groups, enjoys being around young children
• WHMIS, AODA, CCEYA certificates (we can help a successful candidate secure these certificates)
• Dependable and reliable

Considered an Asset:
• Experience cooking in a licensed childcare centre
• Experience with children in a licensed childcare centre
