Job Title: Cat Attendant

Casual, seasonal, part-time, $18 - $20/hr based on experience
The Cat’s Meow is a luxury hotel for cats offering top quality boarding and grooming services.

Duties include:
- Welcoming cats and clients and noting any special instructions for cat care
- Providing exceptional customer and cat service
- Cat handling, brushing, feeding, medicating
- Enclosure cleaning, spot-clean-ups, litter box maintenance
- Vacuuming and laundering bedding
- Washing dishes and laundry folding
- Answering phones and responding to emails
- Photographing cats and posting pics to social media

Qualifications:
- Passionate about the health and well-being of cats and other staff members
- Experience working or volunteering in either kennel, shelter, rescue or veterinary facility is an asset
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to handle cats, place them in carriers
- Attention to detail, power of observation
- Ability to effectively adjust to changes in work tasks and the work environment
- Sets and maintains exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Must operate all equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
- Treats cats humanely, with compassion and respect
- Reliable transportation and comfortable to drive in most weather conditions

*Must be able to work weekends and some holidays

Will train the right applicant.
Job Type: Part-time, Casual, 20 - 25 hours per week, weekends, evening and morning shifts available
