We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services are performed to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role is essential in maintaining the quality of linens and garments, contributing to an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and launder linens, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures.
Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
Sort, fold, and store clean laundry items in designated areas.
Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Collaborate with team to ensure timely delivery of clean items as needed.
Complete any other duties as assigned within the scope of laundry operations.
Skills

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
Ability to operate laundry machinery effectively and safely.
Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks such as lifting and sorting laundry items.
