Job Description

The NHA/NHL Birthplace Museum has one position for a Summer Student with Secondary School education, to be hired as Community Museum Technician (Museum Attendant). Funding is through the Canada Summer Jobs Program and is for youth 15 to 30.

The job is 9 weeks, June 30, 2026 to August 29, 2026
Hours & Salary: Tuesday through Saturday - 30 hours a week. 10:00AM - 4:00PM
$17.60/hour

The Museum is located at the MyFM Activity Centre, MA-TE-Way Park, Renfrew, Ontario.

Skills Required:
Excellent communication and Interpersonal Skills, Research abilities, Computer experience particularly with Word and Excel software, Sales and record keeping abilities, Well-Organized, Interested in History and Hockey. Practical knowledge of Social Media, Facebook, and Instagram.

Physical abilities: Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Able to stand for prolonged periods.
