Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County is a dynamic organization dedicated to helping children reach their full potential through mentoring. The agency serves children throughout the County and works with many key partners to strive to provide every child who needs a mentor with a mentor.

Available Positions:

Summer Program Facilitator (1)
Position will begin July 6 and run through to August 21 for 35 hrs/week.

Are you active and athletic? Are you a certified coach? Do you want to help girls get involved in developing a love of sports? This program will promote an inclusive, welcoming, safe and developmentally appropriate environment while building knowledge, competencies and attitudes to help girls remain is sports and feel safe about participating.
A knowledge of Long-Term Athlete Development and a passion for coaching the fundamentals of fine-tuning motor skills by improving agility, balance and coordination would be an asset. But, more importantly, if you are able to create a fun, safe, judgement free space for girls to develop a love and passion for sports that they can carry with them for life, you are who we are looking for.

Program Facilitator (1)
Position will begin May 4th and run through to August 21 for 35 hrs/week.

Are you active and athletic? We are looking for someone to run our Game On! group mentoring program for male identifying children and youth focusing on healthy lifestyles, self-esteem, and social-emotional learning. The program features physical activities, healthy eating education, and discussions in a supportive group setting.

The successful candidate will love working with kids, playing sports and being part of a fun and committed team.
