Seasonal Picker / Shipper – Production Team-Short Term Contract

We’re looking for hardworking, hands-on individuals to join our Production Team at our Smiths Falls greenhouse. This is a behind-the-scenes role that plays a huge part in getting our plants ready and out the door during our busiest season. If you enjoy staying active, working with a great team, and being around plants every day, this could be a great fit. This is an ideal position for students looking for seasonal or contract work during the summer months!

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be part of the team responsible for growing and preparing all of our plants for the season. Tasks include:
• Labeling and tracking plant varieties
• Picking and shipping racks of plants during peak season (May–June)
• Jumping in to support retail staff when needed

What We’re Looking For
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to handle a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Able to follow directions and stay organized
• Flexible availability (weekends required during peak season)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing for long periods
• Willing to work in varying weather conditions
