Job Description

Based in Perth, Ontario, Valley Plumbing, Heating, and Water Treatment is hiring HVAC
Technician for residential and commercial services, offering full-time (40 hours/week)
position, competitive pay (based on experience), and benefits. Roles involve installing,
servicing, and repairing HVAC systems (furnaces, AC, heat pumps) with a focus on
high-quality workmanship.
Job Responsibilities
● Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair residential and
commercial HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation
systems.
● Service & Troubleshooting: Diagnose HVAC system issues and perform repairs
to ensure proper functioning.
● Customer Interaction: Act as a field representative, communicating effectively
with customers regarding repairs and service needs.
● System Upgrades: Install new heating components.
● Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety practices and local plumbing/HVAC
codes.
Job Requirements
● Experience: Previous experience as an HVAC technician or similar role is
required.
● Certifications: Valid HVAC certifications including G3, G2, Sheet Metal or
Refrigeration.
● Physical Ability: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 50 lbs regularly,
climbing ladders, and navigating tight spaces.
● Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with potential for on-call evenings or
weekends.
