Blair & Son Funeral Home is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Funeral Director Assistant to join our team in Smiths Falls. This position offers approximately 25–30 hours per week and provides the opportunity to support families with care, dignity, and professionalism while assisting with the daily operations of the funeral home.
Responsibilities
• Assist funeral directors during visitations, funeral services, and transfers.
• Prepare facilities, vehicles, and equipment for services.
• Support the day-to-day operations of the funeral home.
• Provide courteous and respectful assistance to families and guests.
Qualifications
• Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
