| Job Description | Helping low-income, vulnerable people with a mental health diagnosis, developmental delay, those in recovery from addictions, Acquired Brain Injury etc. in their day-to-day lives, including house keeping, meal preparation, serving & clean up afterwards, dealing with conflicts, handing out pre-packaged medication, taking calls etc. Residents are independent and fully mobile so there is no lifting, transfers nor bathing required. No post-secondary education/training required. Starting rate: $18.75 plus 4% vacation = $19.50/hour. Training provided, previous experienced an asset but not required. A police check for working with Vulnerable Populations is required upon hiring. |
