Overview
A reputable home inspection team is seeking a dependable, hands-on General Labourer to support their septic inspection services. This is a physically demanding outdoor role, ideal for someone who’s comfortable working in all seasons.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with septic inspections, including hand-digging to access tanks and systems
- Operate power equipment as needed
- Work collaboratively with a small field crew
- Support additional tasks such as drilling and digging
- Travel between job sites (50–60 hours/week including travel)
- Perform physical outdoor labour in various weather conditions
Requirements
- Cell phone for communication
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Renfrew/Arnprior (crew travels from there)
- Comfortable with physical labour and year-round outdoor work
- Must be available to work up to 7 days a week (one week notice required for time off)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with septic systems is an asset
- Familiarity with drinking well water systems or power equipment on construction crews is a plus
- Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn—training is provided
