POSITION SUMMARY : Reporting to the Shelter Manager, you will be responsible for
maintaining effective animal care protocol and procedures 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: 

 Feeding, bathing, grooming, exercising and care of animals 
 General cleaning and disinfecting of premises and equipment 
 Laundry duties, customer service 
 Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act 
 Animal transfers as required 
 Computer knowledge required 
 The successful candidate will be required to work on weekends

QUALIFICATIONS  

 Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays 
 Team player and good judgement 
 Valid G Class Driver’s License and maintenance of a clean driver record 
 Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 
 Completion of OSSD
