Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit childcare organization with three locations in Arnprior and Renfrew.

Our Arnprior location operates out of A.J. Charbonneau Public School on Baskin Drive and offers Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School-Age programs.

We are currently seeking a reliable and energetic Cook to join our team in an existing position that has become available.

Position Details

Start Date: Monday, August 10, 2026
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Rate of Pay: $20.91 per hour, plus 4% holiday pay
Benefits: Group benefits available

Qualifications and Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

* A current Safe Food Handling Certificate
* Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification, including AED
* Proof of up-to-date immunizations
* A current Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the past six months
* Knowledge of Canada’s Food Guide, the Child Care and Early Years Act and How Does Learning Happen?
* Experience working with children in a high-quality, licensed and inclusive childcare setting
* A reliable, energetic and team-oriented approach

The following certifications are also required:

* WHMIS
* Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act training
* Child Care and Early Years Act training
* Anaphylaxis training
* Worker Health and Safety Awareness in Four Steps
