Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator/Site Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure the efficient and accurate movement of products within our warehouse. Responsible for the supervision and direction of all sub-contractors, ensuring high standards of safety, workmanship and efficiency. Planning and scheduling of work, maintain records of the progress made on a job.
Duties:
- Operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other equipment
- Stack and organize products in designated areas
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required in a warehouse environment
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
