Castleford Excavating & Building Movers provides a variety of residential and commercial property services. Our services include landscaping and excavating, underground utilities an site services, snow removal, building relocation and lifting, and ICF foundations. We also provide equipment rentals of backhoes, dump trucks, floats, snowplows, floats and more. Castleford Excavating has been serving the Ottawa Valley for more than 20 years.

We are currently recruiting for a Construction Operator. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities of this position include:
-Operate equipment in support of construction projects
-Provide ICF installation
-House moving and house lifting
-Working a variety of jobs on the construction site
-Transporting materials to and from the job site

Qualifications
Our Construction Operators perform a variety of roles, so we are interested in skillsets that match different activities. To support our team, we do require the following:

-Ability to handle, track and complete multiple tasks
-Someone who is a team player and who other team members can depend upon to be accountable and punctual
-The ability to work independently and with other team members on a specific project
-Capable of performing physical duties

In addition, if you have these qualifications, they would be considered assets:

-AZ or DZ driver’s license
-Experience in house moving and house lifting
-Previous work with installing ICF
-Equipment operator experience
-Additional certifications and licenses
