Job Description

Job Title: Line Cook

Employment Type: Part‑Time

Schedule:

Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Hours: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (evening shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook dishes at a designated station according to the menu and specifications.

Maintain your station—keep it clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Perform closing duties at the end of each shift:

Clean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and utensils.

Properly store leftover ingredients and label/date items for future use.

Restock and prep items as needed for the next day’s service.

Shut down and clean cooking equipment in accordance with safety protocols.

Take out trash and recycling and ensure the kitchen is secure for opening staff.

Follow all health and safety regulations for food handling, storage, and sanitation.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, especially during evening service.

Understanding of proper kitchen cleaning procedures and safe food storage.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends.

Team‑player with good communication skills.
