professionals.

Lanark Cedar is a growing Canadian business providing millwork services and speciality lumber to Eastern Ontario
and beyond. Sourcing woods locally, we supply wood products to business partners, contractors, independent
homeowners, and skilled craftsmen. We are proud to employ up to 12 people and greatly value the contributions

customers.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the yard/shop person will support the daily shop activities of the business with
an aim to provide a high-quality product with amazing customer service. The yard/shop person will work both in
the yard and shop to fill customer orders, and stain lumber.
Schedule: 42 hours per week (during peak periods) and 37.5 (during off-peak periods) with Sundays guaranteed
off
Hourly Rate: $19.50 - $25.00 negotiable with experience
Location: 289 Ramsay Concession 2A (Hwy #7)
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
• Filling customers orders-gathering orders, re-sawing, planing, building fence panels, staining lumber, and
loading delivery truck;
• Counting inventory;
• Promote good customer service;
• Ensure the yard is kept neat and tidy;
• Quality control;
• Other tasks as required.
WHAT YOU NEED
• Professional approach and presence;
• Outstanding attitude: have initiative, display excellent follow-up, have a positive outlook and be a
pleasure to work with;
• Excellent English communications skills (written and verbal); French communication skills are considered
an asset;
• High School diploma or equivalent; College diploma/university degree is considered an asset;
• Previous experience in the lumber industry or woodworking is considered an asset;
• Forklift and loader experience an asset
